Shenyang Blower Works Group Corporation is a large-scale state-owned enterprise based on its former Shenyang blower Works. The Shenyang Blower Works was first founded in 1934.

SBW Group mainly dedicates itself to the research, development, design, manufacturing of centrifugal compressors, axial flow compressors, centrifugal blowers and large-scale ventilators, centrifugal pump products as well as of reciprocating compressors. All of these equipments are widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, air separation and natural gas transportation, acid making, power plant, coal chemical, LNG, etc.,

At present for the domestic market, SBW Group is having around 80% markets shares for its main products. SBW has also export its products to around 40 countries in the world.

SBW Group has always insisted on its development strategy of expanding a wider range of products and marching on with high grade, high precision and advanced technologies so as to develop internationally advanced technologies. To achieve this goal, SBW Group spent around 5 percent of its sales revenue every year for technical development. In 2000, SBW Group set up a national-level enterprise technical center and set up national-level technical branch centers in Xi’an Jiaotong University, Northeastern University and Zhejiang University successively.
