The vessel "Abdias Nascimento" was delivered to Transpetro and started operations last Thursday (14) at the Atlântico Sul Shipyard (EAS), in Pernambuco, having its destination on its first trip to the Campos Basin.

 

The ship, with 274 meters in length, has loading capacity of around 1 million barrels of oil and is ready to operate in Brazil and abroad. With Suezmax Abdias Nascimento at sea, Transpetro expands its fleet and becomes even more capable to meet the demands of its customers, guaranteeing the quality of services, safety and respecting the most rigorous international standards.

 

Currently, five aframax ships are being built at the Atlântico Sul Shipyard (EAS), three (3) of which are expected to be delivered in 2018 and another two (two) in 2019.
