President Michel Temer and US Vice-President Mike Pence spoke by telephone on how to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. Creating jobs and stimulating economic growth were the main topics discussed between the two leaders.

The call was made this Monday (13) by the US Vice-President. The two also stressed the importance of the shared values between the United States and Brazil, including respect for democratic institutions and the rule of law and a commitment to security in the Western hemisphere.

The US Vice-President and Temer agreed to maintain close contact aiming to advance the two countries' shared vision of a stable and prosperous hemisphere.
