Davos
With a reorganised economy and improved legal certainty and predictability, Brazil offers unique infrastructure opportunities for investors
BrazilGovNewsPresident Michel Temer and Secretary of the Presidency Moreira Franco will use the World Economic Forum both to highlight current opportunities for investors under the Time to Move Forward private partnerships programme and to present the results of the projects already concluded under the initiative.
Investment portfolio
Of the 145 projects qualified for inclusion in Time to Move Forward, 70 have already been auctioned. The government expects that currently in-progress projects alone will generate R$ 142 billion in investments, in addition to R$ 28 billion in federal revenue in the form of signing bonuses.
Scenario for 2018
Of the projects to be developed this year, 55 are in priority sectors (i.e. areas with sizeable impacts in the life of Brazilians as a whole). They help reduce the 'Brazil cost' by solving logistics problems in our airports, ports, highways and railways, and are also an important driver of high-paying jobs.
