Petrobras has reached in the last two months the mark of 595 thousand liters of fuel donated to 13 states of the federation. The fuel is used to supply ambulances, vehicles for transporting doctors and public and philanthropic hospitals linked to the state health departments. So far, there have been 215 thousand liters of gasoline and 380 thousand liters of diesel. Deliveries are being made in the five regions of the country: Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Sergipe, Bahia, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Amapá, Acre, Rondônia and Distrito Federal have already received loads of fuel.

Petrobras continues in negotiations to make donations to other states in the country. The company will allocate a total of 3 million liters of gasoline and diesel to the pandemic. Additional volumes will be distributed over the next few months, according to logistical availability and the demand to be indicated by the state governments. Petrobras relies on the logistical support of BR Distribuidora, responsible for delivery throughout Brazil.

“Petrobras maintains its commitment to Brazilian society to help the country to face this pandemic. The donation of fuel is one of the company's initiatives and aims to support the transport logistics of health professionals, supplies and patients ”, explains the executive manager of Social Responsibility at Petrobras, Olinta Cardoso.

In addition to fuel, since the beginning of the pandemic, Petrobras has also donated more than 600,000 tests to detect coronavirus, protective equipment, hygiene material and cooking gas. The company has already allocated more than R $ 30 million in donations to collaborate with society in combating the pandemic.
