The tug Arthur, belonging to the company Tug Brasil and built at Estaleiro Detroit Brasil, in Santa Catarina, was delivered 21th January. Funded by Merchant Marine Fund (FMM), the vessel had 59% of local content and counted with an investment of R$ 12.2 milion, of which approximately 84% was financed by FMM throught the Brazilian Bank of Economic, Development and Social (BNDES). 
The boat has 23.8 meters long, 4.14 meters draft and will be incorporated into the company to operate in Brazilian ports fleet. This is the first delivery of a series of 10 vessels Tugbrasil, all financed by the FMM.
The Merchant Marine Fund reaches, over this delivery, the total of 329 vessels in shipyards and six projects completed since 2007. Currently, there are 158 other vessels underway and eight works on construction sites funded by FMM.
