Tupy S.A. (“Tupy” or “Company”) (BM&FBOVESPA: TUPY3), world’s largest foundry of iron blocks and heads, is pleased to announce that was awarded as one of the best suppliers of Volkswagen Group. The “Volkswagen Group Awards 2014” was awarded to the 18 best suppliers of the group in the whole world, in an event in the Porsche plant in Germany with 250 guests from 28 countries.

The award takes into consideration suppliers’ qualities such as corporate performance, innovation capacity, product quality, and also the experience in developing and managing projects. The award is

granted by the whole Volkswagen group, which includes brands as Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda,Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ducati, Volkswagen Trucks, Scania and Man.

Tupy was the only Brazilian company among the winners, and this recognition reinforces our strategic positioning and our commitment with technological excellence in products, processes and delivery.
