The Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) will inaugurate the COLMEEA Building - Complex of Multiuser Laboratories and Strategic and Advanced Studies. Located in the North Area of the São Carlos campus, the building has 1,242.50 m² and 2 floors.

The inauguration will take place on September 22, starting at 10:30 am. Due to the pandemic, the inauguration will take place in a virtual way, with live transmission through the page of the Rectory UFSCar on Facebook.

The Building - Intended for research, was fully funded by the Financier of Studies and Projects (FINEP). The total value of the construction was R $ 2,874,888.47. The Institutional Support Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development (FAI.UFSCar) was responsible for the execution of the project, under the coordination of the Dean of Research (ProPq). To carry out the work, the Research Infrastructure Coordination, linked to ProPq, as well as several sectors of FAI.UFSCar, acted together. In addition, the UFSCar General Secretariat for Physical Space Management (SeGEF) also supported the work.
