A traditional meeting point for the naval industry, in 2017 Marintec attracted a select group of businessmen on the second day of the fair, who attended the event to strengthen relations with suppliers of equipment, technology and services for shipbuilding. Among visitors, representatives of shipyards, shipping companies, companies that supply the demand of ports and terminals, among others.

Rockfibras Commercial Director Marco Navarro, who attends Marintec every year, was surprised by the business potential of the 2017 edition. "I've been coming to Marintec for a decade because this is the event where I meet potential customers of our services. This is the most relevant fair to evaluate the thermometer of the naval industry, "said the executive of the company manufacturer of thermal and acoustic insulation based on rock wool and calcium silicate.

Managing Partner of Paranaguá Port, a provider of solutions to the port segment, Eduardo Leite says that, in addition to finding possible trade partners at the fair, he was able to take advantage of the environment conducive to generating business to expand his portfolio. "This was my first time at Marintec, with the objective of getting to know the market news and prospecting. I like what I see and I am confident that we will even expand our client portfolio from the contacts started at the event. We intend to return in the coming years, "he says.

Who also was for the first time in the fair was the Industrial technician of the shipyard Enseada Indústria de Naval, Ricardo dos Santos. "I had never been to Marintec and it was an incredible experience, especially because I had the opportunity to see the news that companies offer to the market. The organization is to be congratulated, because it is difficult to maintain something of this level in the current reality of the sector, "said Santos.
