The Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) Saveiros Albatroz, Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore, a joint venture between the Wilson Sons Group and Ultramar, received in late January an award from Petrobras. The oil company recognized the boat as featured in operational and HSE performance in the Campos Basin in 2013. PSV, built in 2003, provides services to Petrobras since it came into operation.
"To be among the top four boats of Petrobras' fleet - which comprises more than 300 vessels of more than 50 companies - is a recognition of the hard work that we provide to our customers. We are delighted with this award", says the CEO of Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore, Gustavo Machado.
Albatroz was the first PSV of Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore, besides being the first offshore support vessel built by Wilson Sons Shipyard in Guaruja (SP). Today, the company owns a fleet of 18 PSVs, four of which came on stream in 2013.
