MODEC, a Japanese-based multinational global leader in the construction and operation of floating systems for oil and gas production, plans to open about 800 jobs in the country by 2020. Hiring is a direct response to the company's fleet expansion. , which currently has six vessels under construction - four for the Brazilian market, one for Mexico and one for Australia.

 

The vacancies, which will be destined for offshore operation and corporate functions, will be published throughout the year on the company's official channels. In operation in Brazil since 2003, MODEC currently operates 10 platforms in the country. The company's next deliveries to the Brazilian market will be the Carioca MV30 and Guanabara MV31 FPSOs, estimated for 2021, and the Almirante Barroso MV32 and Anita Garibaldi MV33 FPSOs, scheduled for 2022.
