As announced to the market in a statement filed yesterday (September 30) with the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), Petrobras has taken out a loan through an Export Credit Note from Banco do Brasil. Petrobras clarifies that this is not a new isolated transaction, but rather the replacement of a dollar-denominated debt with a debt in Brazilian reais, together with a term extension. We also emphasize that this transaction was advantageous compared with other options available in the market.
