Daewoo expects to deliver the LNG tankers by 2016.
DSME
Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) of South Korea secured a US$410 million deal to build two LNG tankers for an unnamed European company, DSME said in a filling to the stock exchange. Daewoo expects to deliver the LNG tankers by 2016.
DSME is one of the world’s leading shipyards for the construction of LNG tankers and the shipbuilder won several orders to build LNG tankers, including an LNG FSRU, in the last 12 months.
