Attending the OTC for over five years, Oxifree Metal Protection uses its presence at the fair to strengthen and maintain its leadership in the anti-corrosion market, to promote visits from a range of international licensed companies and to publicize its sales to expanding markets.

Its novelty this year will be the Oxifree TM 198, a removable product that provides protection against corrosion to flanges and valves and has a guarantee of 30 years. "In 2013 we had a lot of visits, and as we now have this novelty, we believe that we will surpass this success in 2014," says Thomas Fink, director of Oxifree.

OxiFree is a polymeric resin with high durability, produced by the company Tecno Fink based in Nova Lima (in the state of Minas Gerais). It is a means of passive protection, coating components and preventing both corrosion and the penetration of suspended particles. OxiFree’s excellent performance has led to the company starting operations in the United States, and the product is already being sold in 25 countries, including England, Nigeria, the US, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Chile and Canada. It has a training center in Houston that trains service providers, and sales of Oxifree are made through exclusive licenses granted for determined territories, guaranteeing a quick high-quality service across the whole world.

According to Fink, the oil and gas sector and the shipping industry represent nearly 60% of the company’s revenues. Oxifree is currently working on various international projects with companies such as BHP, BP, Total, Exxon and Petrobras.
