Pacific Rubiales orders second FLNG regasification vessel

The vessel will be built in China.

Wison Offshore & Marine has won its second contract for a barge-based floating LNG regasification unit from Pacific Midstream Holding, a joint venture between Exmar and Pacific Rubiales Energy.

The vessel will be built at Wison’s construction complex in Nantong, China, and is expected to be delivered in late 2015. Wison affiliates will be responsible for turnkey engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning.

Last month the contractor signed an agreement with VGS for a barge-based floating LNG regasification facility to be located offshore Andhra Pradesh, India.
