The ANP authorized ES Gás to exercise the activity of natural gas carrier, according to a decision published in the Official Gazette of March 16.

As a carrier, ES Gás will be able to contract its own transport capacity and directly manage this contract, independently of the acquisition of the natural gas molecule.

“We expect that in the second half of 2021, the carrier operating in ES will offer the remaining transport capacity of the Delivery Points in the State and, as shippers, we will be able to evaluate the most advantageous contracting options for the customers of ES Gás ”, explains the Company's Natural Gas Acquisitions and Sales manager, Paulo Augusto Rodrigues Ribeiro.
