In a scenario of digital transformation, increasingly complex infrastructure and growing pressure for operational efficiency, Asset Management has come to occupy a strategic role in organizations. It is in this context that the Brazilian Maintenance and Asset Management Association (ABRAMAN) promotes, on August 13, at Espaço Costa Hall, in downtown Rio de Janeiro, the 3rd SIGA – International Asset Management Seminar, bringing together national and international experts, executives, representatives of regulatory agencies and professionals from various segments to discuss the challenges and opportunities of Asset Management in a market increasingly driven by data, innovation and sustainability.

With the theme "Asset Management: Creating Value Across All Sectors and for All Stakeholders", the meeting will discuss how Asset Management has been contributing to increasing organizations' competitiveness, strengthening governance, optimizing investments and generating value throughout the entire asset life cycle.

The opening will be led by the Chairman of ABRAMAN's Board of Directors, Marco Aurélio Mauro, who will present a strategic view on the role of maintenance and Asset Management as pillars for driving results, sustainability and competitiveness across different sectors of the economy.

For Marcela Scalco (photo), ABRAMAN's CEO, SIGA reflects the evolution of Asset Management, which today goes beyond the boundaries of maintenance and becomes part of organizations' strategic decisions.

"More than a seminar, SIGA establishes itself as a meeting to broaden perspectives, strengthen collaboration and bring together those who define requirements, develop solutions and face the challenges of operations on a daily basis."

Practical cases show how different sectors have been transforming Asset Management

The program will bring together national and international experiences on asset management challenges in segments such as infrastructure, industry, energy and aviation.

One of the highlights will be the presentation by Celso de Azevedo, who will address the evolution of ISO 55000 and share experiences from IFRAMI (French Institute of Industrial and Infrastructure Asset Management) in implementing Asset Management in France and other European countries. The presentation will show how the adoption of the standard has contributed to increasing organizational maturity, strengthening governance and supporting strategic decisions in different sectors.

Azul Linhas Aéreas will present the case "When Failing Is Not an Option", sharing its experience in managing critical assets in a highly complex operation, where safety, reliability and availability are essential factors for business continuity.

Petrobras, in turn, will bring to the seminar the presentation "Challenges and Gains of Asset Management in Refining", led by Patricia Iris, who will show how the company has been facing challenges related to operational reliability, resource optimization, risk management and alignment between strategy and operations, as well as the results achieved in efficiency, availability and asset performance.

Another important moment will be the round table "The role of regulatory agencies in Asset Management – From conception to disposal", which will bring together experts to discuss how governance, sustainability, risk management, regulatory compliance and resilience should accompany all stages of the asset life cycle.

Technology, governance and innovation at the center of the discussions

In addition to the presentations, the seminar will promote debates on digital transformation, intelligent monitoring, reliability, asset integrity, innovation, risk management, ESG and data-driven decision-making.

Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and expand connections among companies, regulators, technology providers and experts responsible for defining policies, developing solutions and conducting operations in strategic sectors of the economy.

The program includes a welcome coffee, lunch and a closing cocktail, fostering networking among participants.
