Petrobras announces the conclusion of the well drilling 3-BRSA-1296-SES (ANP nomenclature) in Sergipe Basin´s ultra-deep waters, in concession BM-SEAL-10, block SEAL-M-499.

The test results confirmed the presence of light oil (with higher market value) and good conditions of reservoirs porosity and permeability.

Such drilling reported two light oil intervals with 24 meters of total thickness. The well drilling reached 6.060 meters of final depth.

The well is located at 94 km off Aracaju (SE), 10 km from the discovery well, at 2.988 meters of water depth. Such depth represents a new record on maritime well drillings in the Brazilian shore.

This is the third extension well in the Moita Bonita Area discovered on August 2012, and is part of the Segipe-Alagoas Basin exploration Project in deep waters.

Petrobras holds 100% interest on the block and will proceed with the Discovery Evaluation Plan, according to Brazil´s Nacional Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP).
