Firjan SENAI, in partnership with Sebrae Rio, will hold the Supplier Opportunities Network (RdO Fornecedores): Oil, Gas, Energy and Naval on the first day of Navalshore, the main shipbuilding industry fair in Latin America. The federation's program promotes strategic meetings, connecting large companies to potential suppliers. In this edition, participants will be able to use the Usemol Smart procurement portal platform to register their goods and services.

"With the new portal, the expectation is that suppliers will be able to carry out their registration update process in a simpler and more direct way. This year, RdO Fornecedores advanced beyond the borders of the state of Rio, with a focus on international opportunities, at OTC Houston, and on the Equatorial Margin, in the North of the country. Participating in Navalshore is important for the naval industry of Rio de Janeiro," highlights the general manager of Oil, Gas, Energy and Naval at Firjan, Karine Fragoso (photo).

On August 18 and 19, at ExpoRio, at the federation's booth, the following contracting companies will take part in RdO Fornecedores: the Brazilian Navy, Transpetro and the shipyards Mauá and Hanwha Ocean. The first day will be dedicated to company presentations, and on the following day the conversation tables between demanders and suppliers will take place. To participate, supplier companies of goods and services must register via the link bit.ly/rede-oportunidades-fornecedores.

It is worth remembering that to take part in RdO Fornecedores, interested parties must also register and purchase the Navalshore credential on the website: www.navalshore.com.br.

Naval Overview in Rio de Janeiro

Also on the first day of Navalshore 2026, the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan) will launch the "Naval Overview in Rio de Janeiro". In its 7th edition, the publication offers reflections on the main challenges and trends of the naval industry. For the launch, the federation will hold a debate session, divided into four panels: Context and International Experience; Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Professional Training; New Markets for the Naval Industry; and Major Markets for the Naval Industry.

President of Firjan, Luiz Césio Caetano highlights the importance of launching the publication during the fair: "At a time marked by the resumption of investments, the expansion of offshore activities, the energy transition and the strengthening of the ocean economy, this publication seeks to offer an updated view of the market. It makes perfect sense to bring it into Navalshore, where the major companies in this market will be gathered," he states.

The 7th edition of the Naval Overview in Rio de Janeiro brings together articles from entities and public and private companies. In addition to Firjan, the following take part: ABEEólica, ANTAQ, ABEAM, ABEEMAR, ABIMAQ, ONIP, Sinaval and Syndarma. The public sector's view is presented by the Brazilian Navy, the Ministry of Ports and Airports (MPOR), Transpetro, BNDES and Seenemar. The private sector, in turn, is represented by Allseas, Edison Couest Offshore, SBM Offshore and Rystad Energy.
