Décio Oddone and director Dirceu Amorelli participated yesterday in a luncheon at the Canadian Global Exploration Forum (CGEF) in Calgary, Canada, which represents the top companies in the upstream sector of that country. Tomorrow they will be in New York for a series of meetings with investment banks, with the aim of publicizing the bidding rounds planned for this year and the permanent offer of areas.

At the event, Décio Oddone highlighted the realization of the permanent offer of areas. "It's the highlight of this roadshow. Brazil is going through a deep transformation in the E & P sector and it is the biggest window of opportunity for companies interested in the Brazilian onshore, "said the director.

The permanent offer of areas will include 846 blocks of 13 sedimentary basins, totaling approximately 285,400 km2, and 15 areas with marginal accumulations in three basins.

The Director General also presented technical information and rules for participation in the 15th. Round of Bids, under the concessions regime, and in the 4th. Round of Production Sharing in the Pre-salt, scheduled for this year.

In the 15th. Round will be offered 70 blocks in the sedimentary basins of Ceará, Potiguar, Sergipe-Alagoas, Campos and Santos and in the terrestrial basins of Parnaíba and Paraná, totaling 95.5 thousand km² of area. In the 4th. Round of Sharing will be tendered the areas of Itaimbezinho, Três Marias, Dois Irmãos, Saturno and Uirapuru in the Campos and Santos basins.
