How can renewable sources be integrated with conventional energy systems while ensuring economic growth and sustainability? This is one of the key questions that will be at the heart of discussions at iBEM 2026 – The International Meeting on Brazil's Energy Market, taking place from March 24 to 26, 2026, at the Salvador Convention Center (Bahia, Brazil).

iBEM is a pioneering trade fair and conference in Brazil, bringing together all energy sectors and highlighting the country as a global benchmark in diversity, integration, and energy efficiency. The program includes four thematic arenas focused on ESG, Innovation, Investments, and Business, as well as an academic congress, technical sessions, and a space dedicated to professional development called "Future Talents."

The event will also feature conferences with national and international experts discussing topics such as energy transition, system integration, digitalization, and security.

A new addition this year will be training courses aimed at students, professionals, and those interested in the sector. Simply visit the website to check the available options.

Completely free of charge, the event also includes a Business Roundtable, where buyers and suppliers of products and services meet in pre-scheduled sessions. Another highlight is the technical visits, where participants will have the opportunity to explore the operations of various energy companies in Salvador and its metropolitan region.

In its first edition, the event welcomed representatives from 25 countries, and organizers expect this number to be surpassed due to the success of iBEM25. The estimated attendance is 4,000 people over the three-day program.

iBEM26 is organized by three Bahia-based energy companies: Austral, BrainMarket, and Eolus. Visit the website for more information.
