Several activities of the second edition of iBEM – The International Meeting on Brazil’s Energy Market are now open for registration. To participate, simply visit the website (www.ibemenergy.com). The event, which brings together all segments of the energy industry — connecting renewable, transitional, and conventional sources — will take place from March 24th to 26th, 2026, at the Salvador Convention Center (Bahia, Brazil).
The Commercial Arena is one of the spaces already open for booking. It is the ideal environment for companies to present their latest product and service launches to a qualified audience from the energy sector.
Another space currently accepting registrations is the Investment Arena, where energy companies present their projects and investment portfolios to a specialized audience composed of representatives from credit institutions, investment funds, and suppliers of goods and services.
The Technical Section is also open for submissions until January 26th, 2026. This space allows operations and maintenance professionals to share their best practices and technological challenges.

Free of charge, the event will feature a diverse programme, including the Business Exhibition, which will bring together national and international companies and institutions; the Conference, addressing current and future challenges in the energy sector under the theme “Integration and Diversification for Energy Security”; and the Business Matchmaking Section, where buyers and suppliers of products and services meet through pre-scheduled short meetings.
iBEM26 will also feature thematic arenas focused on Innovation and ESG (covering environmental, social, and governance topics), as well as an Academic Congress dedicated to R&D projects in energy, led by students, professors, and researchers.
The programme further includes the Future Talents initiative — where companies present their internship programmes and recruitment opportunities — and the Technical Visits, which offer participants a chance to experience the daily operations of various energy companies based in Salvador and its metropolitan region.
In its first edition, iBEM brought together representatives from 25 countries, and the organizers expect this number to increase in 2026. The event is expected to welcome around 4,000 participants over its three days.
iBEM26 is organized by three Bahia-based energy companies: Austral, BrainMarket, and Eolus.
