Yesterday (08/25) the ANP Board of Directors approved the holding of a public consultation to obtain contributions from economic agents and other interested parties on the Public Call Notice (CP 04) for the contracting of Natural Gas Transport Capacity in the Bolivia Gas Pipeline -Brasil (transport pipeline of Transportadora Brasileira Gasoduto Bolivia-Brasil S.A.). The purpose of the public notice is to identify potential shippers (economic agents authorized by the ANP to contract the natural gas pipeline transport service) and the contracting of firm transport capacity (with guaranteed movement up to the contracted volume) in the gas pipeline for the period from 2023 to 2027.

Due to the transition to a new transport capacity reservation model in Brazil and the pricing of this capacity, it is essential for agents to participate in the discussion of the clauses and documents used in the Public Call Process, since they present the applicable reference tariffs to the firm transport service object of the contract.

After analyzing the contributions received during the public consultation, the ANP Board will approve the draft notice and, as an annex, the draft transport contracts. The Maximum Permitted Revenue of TBG and the reference rates applicable to the firm transport service to be contracted through the Public Call must also be approved, since these values ​​are part of the public notice, in compliance with the provisions of the New Gas Law ( Law 14.134/2021).

The Public Call will be conducted indirectly by Transportadora Brasileira Gasoduto Bolivia-Brasil S/A (TBG).
