The total extraction of oil and natural gas from Petrobras abroad in January was 202,000 boepd, representing an increase of 7.2% compared to 188 thousand bpd produced in the previous month. The exclusive oil production was 112 thousand bpd, up 11.8% from 101,000 bopd produced in December. 
The company said the increase resulted from the startup of two new wells in the FPSO BW Pioneer, located in the Cascade and Chinook fields in the Gulf of Mexico American. 
The natural gas production abroad was 15 million 154 thousand cubic / day (m³ / d), 2.0% above the volume produced in December, which was 14 million 861 thousand m³ / d, mainly due yards, standardization of production in the fields of southern basin (Santa Cruz I, Santa Cruz and Santa Cruz I West II), in Argentina after labor stoppage.
