The 2025 edition of Vitória PetroShow, one of Brazil’s most prominent events in the oil, gas, and energy sector, began this Tuesday, April 8. With international reach, the event runs through Thursday and gathers representatives from the upstream, midstream, downstream, petrochemical, maritime, technological innovation, and energy transition segments.

The opening ceremony featured key industry figures, including Guilherme Sargenti (pictured), General Manager of Petrobras’ Business Unit in Espírito Santo. “Participating in Vitória PetroShow reinforces our commitment to the sustainable development of the oil and gas industry in the region,” said Sargenti, representing Petrobras, the event’s master sponsor.

Also present at the opening were Pablo Lira (Jones dos Santos Neves Institute), Eduardo Dalla Mura (FINDES), Márcio Félix (ABPIP), José Mauro Coelho (Aurum Tank), Luiz Eduardo Trindade (Mandacaru), Eurípedes Pedrinha (Sebrae-ES), Jorge Silva (Crea-ES), and other representatives from the energy industry value chain.

Eurípedes Pedrinha, Technical Director at Sebrae-ES, highlighted the event’s impact on small businesses: “Events like Vitória PetroShow create real opportunities for small enterprises to connect with major players in the sector, strengthening the local economy and promoting innovation.”

Jorge Silva, President of Crea-ES, emphasized the technical value of professionals in the industry: “The sustainable growth of the oil and gas sector necessarily depends on the recognition of Brazilian engineering and a commitment to technical excellence. That’s why Crea-ES supports this movement and actively participates in Vitória PetroShow.”

Robust Infrastructure and Focus on Innovation

Spanning 1,500 square meters, the Exhibition Arena features 52 booths from Brazilian and international companies in the sector. The 6th edition of the PetroShow Conference presents strategic panels on the current landscape of oil and gas exploration and production in Brazil.

The event also includes the SG Arena, focusing on discussions related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics. The Innovation Space highlights technologies applied across the energy value chain, and the Technical Session features scientific posters and selected research papers.

With a diverse program and a business-friendly environment, Vitória PetroShow 2025 reinforces Espírito Santo’s role as one of Brazil’s leading oil and gas development hubs.

Manoel Passos, organizer of Vitória PetroShow, celebrated the progress seen in the 2025 edition: “Our goal is to connect knowledge, technology, and business. This year, we expanded spaces, strengthened partnerships, and elevated the level of technical and strategic discussion. Vitória is now firmly on the global energy map.”
