The ANP Collegiate Board, with the agreement of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), approved yesterday (8/13) the exceptional and temporary reduction of the percentage of mandatory mixture of biodiesel to diesel oil from the current 12% to 10% in the two months September and October 2020. The measure is necessary to continue the national supply, since the supply of biodiesel for the period mentioned could not be sufficient to meet the 12% mixture of diesel B, which has been widely consumed, despite the current pandemic situation.

The cancellation and restart were also approved, already with the reduction of the minimum percentage of mixture to 10%, of Stage 3 of the 75th Biodiesel Auction that had been interrupted in 08/07, due to problems in the auction system at the time of the closing scheduled step.
