“Given its representativeness in the Brazilian scenario, the Association has contributed to the resumption of economic growth, through the commitment and development of technology to generate greater competitiveness for Brazilian companies, in addition to support actions with the government and public bodies”, highlights Gabriel Aidar Abouchar, CEO of Abemi.
Based on the tripod of productivity, transparency and innovation, Abemi implemented a compliance policy, giving greater transparency to the activities of its associates. In this regard, the Association has an agreement with Trace International, an American Compliance certification entity and recognized by major international corporations and investors.
“This policy guides all of its work groups and committees that, in partnership with other companies, have sought mechanisms to alleviate the settlement of tax liabilities, credit with guarantees based on results and, also, the incentive to public tenders, whose projects have already be completed before the works start and carry out the issue of basic sanitation for all Brazilians ”, says Gabriel.
There are currently six working groups, which are at the forefront of the Association's main themes. They are Environment Sanitation and Solid Waste; Technology and inovation; Legal Affairs; SMS and Productivity; Competitive and Energy Management. In addition to the Permanent Compliance Committee.
In summary, Abemi is the only national Association that brings together the entire supply chain of Engineering: Projects and Management, Civil Construction, Electromechanical Assembly, Maintenance, Manufacturing and Logistics. This characteristic allows Abemi to unanimously represent all interested sectors.
It is also important to highlight that the Association has an important social mission. It is through ABEMI that its Associates promote the best engineering practices throughout Brazil. To this end, courses and lectures are offered locally for field teams, which involve topics such as occupational safety, occupational health, protection of the environment, among others.
