On Monday (March 30), the production sharing contracts of Búzios and Itapu, of the Bidding Round for the Surplus of Transfer of Rights, and of Aram, for the 6th Round of Production Sharing.

 

The winning bidders entered into production sharing contracts with the Ministry of Mines and Energy, ANP and Pré-Sal Petróleo SA (PPSA) for the exploration and production of oil and natural gas.

 

The Búzios block was auctioned off in the Bidding Round for the Surplus of the Transfer of Rights, held on 6/11/2019, by the consortium formed by the companies Petrobras, CNODC and CNOOC. The contract will be valid for 35 years and represented a collection of R $ 68,194,000,000.00 (sixty-eight billion and one hundred and ninety-four million reais) for the Federal Government, in addition to a surplus percentage of oil of 23.24 %.

 

The Itapu block, also bought in the Bidding Round for the Surplus of the Transfer of Rights, was contracted exclusively with Petrobras, which offered R $ 1,766,000,000.00 (one billion, seven hundred and sixty-six million reais) and a percentage surplus in oil of 18.15% under the contract.

 

The Aram block was purchased at the 6th Production Sharing Round, held on 11/7/2019, by the consortium formed by the companies Petrobras and CNODC Brasil, which offered a signing bonus of R $ 5,050,000,000.00 (five billion and fifty million reais) and a percentage of oil surplus for the Union of 29.96%.

 

The amounts related to the signing bonus were paid by the companies in December 2019 and the signing of the contracts allows the agreed investments to be made.
