In compliance with the provisions of MME Ordinance No. 455, of December 6, 2019, the Ministry of Mines and Energy provides the DDIG System that contains the “DECLARATION OF ELECTRICITY PURCHASE NEEDS” model and the document “COMMITMENT TERM OF COMMITMENT PURCHASE OF ELECTRICITY ”from the Distribution Agent. Declarations must be sent through the DDIG System, available on the MME website, by March 27, 2020.

Distribution agents must submit their declarations by filling out the documents with a view to the New Energy Auction "A-4" in 2020. The auction to be held on May 28, 2020 provides for the contracting of electricity from new projects, beginning supply on January 1, 2024.

The Declarations will be accepted only electronically in the "Digital Declaration System - DDIG" and will be considered irrevocable and irreversible, serving for the subsequent execution of the Electricity Commercialization Contracts in the Regulated Environment (CCEAR).

Any other documents, reservations or conditions will be disregarded.

The DDIG System is able to work only in the following browsers:

• Internet Explorer 8 or higher

• Mozilla Firefox 51 or lower (32-bit)

• Mozilla Firefox 52 ESR (32 bits).

If there was a change in one of these information, it will be necessary to update the “token” of the qualified user, which can be done in a certifying unit. More information can be obtained on the ITI website.

If the company does not have a valid token or if the information is not updated in the DDIG System, it will not be possible to access it.
