The second edition of the FAPESP Bioenergy Research Program (BIOEN) online seminar series will be held on Thursday (08/20) and will focus on “Biofuels Technologies: the sustainability challenge”.

The webinar will present the latest scientific and technological achievements in biofuels. The speakers will present success stories and scientific achievements in this energy sector.

The event will be opened by Luiz Eugênio Mello, scientific director of FAPESP, and Glaucia Mendes Souza, from the University of São Paulo (USP).

The speakers will be Rubens Maciel Filho, from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), Lee Lynd, from Unicamp, Antonio Bonomi, from the National Research Center for Energy and Materials (CNPEM), moderated by Maciel Filho and Luiz Horta, from Unicamp.

Registrations must be made through the FAPESP website. The transmission will be made from 2 pm to 3:30 pm, through FAPESP's YouTube channel. Interested parties may send questions to the email bioen-webinars@fapesp.br, which will be answered during the event.
