From August 23 to 25, the future of energy will be the subject of debates at Shell Talks 2022. The event, which returns to face-to-face format, will be held at Armazém 5 do Píer Mauá (Rio de Janeiro), and will also be broadcast live through the company's website and the social networks of the newspapers O Globo and Valor Econômico (LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube).

On the first day, Flavio Rodrigues, vice president of Corporate Relations at Shell Brasil, opens the debates at 9:30 am, in the panel "Energy security and competitiveness", with the presence of Clarissa Lins, founding partner of Catavento Consultoria and Carlos Pascual, vice president of - Senior President of Global Energy at IHS Markit, moderated by Carlos Alberto Sandenberg.

At 2:30 pm, Cristiano Pinto da Costa (photo), president of Shell Brasil, participates in the panel "The ESG agenda in the vision of CEOs". Moderated by Natalia Viri, the panel also includes the participation of André Clark, director general of Siemens Energy Brazil and Gustavo Montezano, president of BNDES.

This year, Shell Talks takes place in parallel with the Shell Eco-Marathon, an event that brings together university students between August 22 and 25, at Armazém 3 do Píer Mauá. Participants are challenged to build prototype cars that travel the longest distance with the least amount of energy on a track built for competition. 30 teams from different states of the country and the Americas are expected.
