Early bird registration for the 23rd World Petroleum Congress is now open and available through April 30th. Delegates who take advantage of registering early for the Congress, to be held in Houston, U.S.A. from December 5-9, 2021, will receive a discount of over one third on the onsite price. Under the theme Innovative Energy Solutions, delegates can expect a packed four-day program with over 500 expert speakers sharing their insights into current industry trends, as well as creative solutions and best practices to address industry challenges. Beyond plenary sessions, CEO panels, technical forums, strategic sessions and roundtables, delegates will have the opportunity to attend Industry Insight luncheons and numerous networking events that build new professional relationships and strengthen existing ones.

Last spring, a difficult but responsible decision was made to postpone the 23rd World Petroleum Congress for a full year until December 2021. “We believe that current trends affirm we can hold a safe, in-person event that will be important for our industry this December,” said Jeff Shellebarger, Chairman of the 23rd World Petroleum Congress Organizing Committee. “Attendees will have the opportunity to come together to network, build relationships, and to participate in conversation and dialogue to understand global perspectives on the future of energy, energy transformation, and the priorities going forward."

In addition to the Congress program, delegates can explore the Congress exhibition — spread across 50,000 sqm (500,000 sq. ft.) of the George R. Brown Convention Center — where hundreds of companies will showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions from around the world. Delegates perusing the exhibition floor will also be able to visit several special features including a major exhibit from NASA, an International Village made up of some 60+ countries, and the Social Responsibility Global Village featuring informative presentations on best practices in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
