FGV Law School Rio holds IV Brazil X Norway Seminar on the impacts of Covid-19 on maritime navigation

FGV Law School Rio, together with the Norwegian Shipwoners Association Brazil (ABRAN) and the Royal Consulate General of Norway, holds the “IV Brazil x Norway Seminar - The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the green transformation of the maritime navigation sector and offshore and the role of regulation ”. The event, which will take place on the 29th and 30th of September, aims to strengthen the bonds of friendship between Brazil and Norway, bringing to discussion a theme that reflects the maritime vocation of the two countries and the concern with the preservation of the environment.

 

The event will be attended by the Brazilian National Secretary of Ports and Waterways Transport, Diogo Piloni; the Director of Ports and Coasts, Vice-Admiral Alexandre Cursino; ANTAQ Director, Adalberto Tokarski and Norwegian authorities.

 

During the meeting, participants will discuss the strategies and initiatives of the Brazilian and Norwegian governments for the development of the sector and the role of regulatory bodies and industry representatives.
