Petrobras informs that the process for selecting the new Governance and Compliance Executive Officer is ongoing, as the current officer, João Adalberto Elek Junior, is leaving office on April 30, 2018.

According to company's governance rules, Petrobras' Board of Directors will elect the Governance and Compliance Officer from a Brazilian professional's triple list. Those professionals will be preselected through a process to be conducted by a company specialized in selecting executives. Said company will look for market professionals with acknowledged competence in the area.

A maximum of three (3) consecutive reelections are allowed, if the Officer participates in the new selection process.

The officer will be selected according to integrity, technical, and management qualification criteria before being submitted to the Board of Directors for approval.
