KPMG director, Victor Venâncio, gave last monday (Aug 26), the lecture "The Impact of Digital Technologies on the Future of the Oil and Gas Industry". He participated of the O&G TechWeek, an event organized by the Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas (IBP). The meeting was about how a digital innovation can impact the future of the gas industry, increasing competitiveness, productivity and cost savings.

During the event, KPMG partner talked, among other things, about how the development of new technologies enabled the exploration of oil and gas in deep sea and the treatment and extraction of oil and natural gas from shale rocks. The panel was mediated by Petrobras IT and CIO Executive Manager, Aspen Andersen.
