Matrix Offshore Services & Engineering (MOSE), a division of the wider Matrix Composites & Engineering (Matrix) Group, announced Thursday that it has entered into an agency agreement with Oil States Industries Inc. for the exclusive distribution of their subsea pipeline products in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. The new agreement broadens MOSE’s subsea hardware offering to include a greater range of products that can be used in conjunction with subsea umbilicals, risers, flowlines (SURF), pipeline connection and pipeline repair systems.
In addition to the new agreement, MOSE retains its license and distribution agreement with Oil States for the manufacture and supply of tubular connectors and finished conductors used for well construction applications.
Oil States Houston Director of Sales and Marketing, Pat McQuinn said “This expanded agreement allows Oil States to continue supporting MOSE in its ongoing offshore efforts. Additionally, it will broaden the value-base both companies can provide to clients in Australia.”
MOSE’s General Manager, Graeme Rooke said “MOSE is thrilled to have broadened the scope of its long term relationship with Oil States which dates back to 1983. Using our complimentary fabrication and machining capabilities, this new range of subsea and deepwater pipeline products will complement our existing SURF ancillary product range manufactured at the Company’s Henderson facility in WA. This existing range includes subsea buoyancy, coating and protection, clamping systems, and flexible flowlines and umbilical accessories.”
Matrix and Oil States will be launching their new agency agreement at the Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference, Feb. 19-21.
