In this edition of the Oil & Gas Industry Situation Bulletin, the Energy Research Company presents an overview of Iran's Oil and Natural Gas Industry. The text describes a brief history of its development, highlighting the remarkable role of this industry in political developments. and the country's economic development in the 20th and early 21st centuries. The reserves and production of these natural resources in Iran are also analyzed, with emphasis on the South Pars field, as well as its infrastructure and markets for oil, oil products and natural gas. In addition, Panorama discusses the effects of international sanctions on the country, which has limited the attraction of technologies and foreign investments, giving great challenges to the maintenance and expansion of its productive capacity.
