In partnership with IBP, ANP will virtually hold, on November 16, between 4 pm and 7 pm, the VIII ANP Environmental Safety Workshop (SOMA), as a pre-event for Rio Oil & Gas, which takes place between December 1st and 3rd, on an exclusive online platform.
SOMA aims to publicize the safe performance of oil and gas exploration and production activities in Brazil, as well as the main issues and challenges for the future, aiming at an increasingly safe and sustainable industry.
The opening will be held by the director general of the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA), Anne Myhrvold, together with the acting director general of the ANP, Raphael Moura.
The program also includes Mariana França, acting Superintendent of SSM / ANP; Nayara Nunes Ferreira, General Supervisory Coordinator of SSM / ANP; Daniela Goñi Coelho, General Coordinator of Incidents and Operational Performance at SSM / ANP; Luciene Ferreira Pedrosa, General Coordinator of Operational Safety and Environment at SSM / ANP; Tiago Machado De Souza Jacques, Technical Advisor for the Environment at SSM / ANP; and Thiago da Silva Pires, General Regulation Coordinator of SSM / ANP.
The agenda includes topics such as operational safety performance in E&P and challenges for the industry; operational security oversight before and after the pandemic; environmental assessment of the sedimentary area and the next steps to interface with the environment; and challenges of regulation, among others.
