The ANP yesterday (4/2) notified Petrobras and on the fourth (3/2) BR Distribuidora, within the investigative process conducted by the Agency, to provide, within 48 hours, detailed information on aviation gasoline (GAV) outside the specification standards produced in January at the Presidente Bernardes Refinery (RPBC), in Cubatão, São Paulo. According to Petrobras, just over two thousand cubic meters of this product were sold.

In addition to the information already provided to the ANP, Petrobras will be notified today (5/2) to provide additional data on the movement and quality of the volume of GAV outside the specification sold by the Cubatão Refinery. ANP technicians, who have been at the refinery since 3/2 to investigate what happened, have already collected samples of the fuel for analysis in the laboratory. The Presidente Bernardes Refinery is the only one to produce aviation gasoline in Brazil.

ANP is working with all economic agents that operate in the supply of GAV to ensure supply and safety in the use of the product.
