Petrobras, regarding the pieces of news in the media about the sale of onshore production fields, located in the Recôncavo and Tucano Basins, in the state of Bahia, jointly called the Bahia Terra Cluster, clarifies that it has received binding offers from potential interested parties in the acquisition of the assets.

The consortium formed by Aguila Energia e Participações Ltda and by Infra Construtora e Serviços Ltda submitted the best proposal, worth more than US$ 1.5 billion, and Petrobras Executive Board approved the beginning of the negotiation phase.

The company clarifies that the signing of the transaction will depend on the outcome of the negotiations, as well as the necessary corporate approvals.

Petrobras reinforces its commitment to the broad transparency of its divestment projects and portfolio management and informs that the subsequent stages of the project will be disclosed in a timely manner.
