Petrobras reports that it has started the opportunity disclosure stage (teaser), regarding the sale of four termal power plants, which three are located in Camaçari-BA (UTEs Polo Camaçari) of fuel oil, and one is located in Canoas-RS (UTE Canoas), of biofuel (diesel or natural gas).

 

The teasers, which contain key information about the assets, as well as the eligibility criteria for selection of potential participants, are available on the Petrobras website: https://www.investidorpetrobras.com.br/en/results-andnotices/teasers

 

The main subsequent stages of each project will be reported to the market in due course.

 

This disclosure complies with Petrobras' divestment guidelines and the special regime of asset divestment by federal mixed capital companies, provided for in Decree 9,188/2017.

 

These transactions are in line with the portfolio optimization and the improvement of Petrobras’ capital allocation, aiming at maximizing value for its shareholders.

 

About the termal power plants

 

The UTEs Polo Camaçari are assets owned by Petrobras and include the Arembepe, Bahia 1 and Muricy plants, with a total installed capacity of 329 MW. The plants operate with fuel oil and have the possibility of conversion to natural gas operation.

 

The UTE of Canoas is an asset owned by Petrobras and has an installed capacity of 249 MW. The plant operates with biofuel (natural gas and diesel), having potential operational gain with the expected expansion of the gas pipeline network and/or new regasification terminals.
