The ANP Collegiate Board approved today (11/02), the ANP Public Notice and Contracts No. 02/2020, which aims to contract the firm capacity available in the Bolivia-Brazil Gas Pipeline (Gasbol) for the years of 2021 to 2025 by interested shippers (economic agents authorized by the ANP to contract pipeline transportation services for natural gas).

The drafts of the documents were submitted to industry and the general public through ANP Public Consultation No. 15/2020. Based on the comments and suggestions accepted by the ANP, Transportadora Brasileira Gasoduto Bolivia-Brasil S / A - TBG prepared revised versions of the Public Notice and the Transport Service Contract that were analyzed by the ANP Collegiate Board.

As provided for in art. 34 of Law 11.909, of March 4, 2009, access to the firm transport service, in available capacity, occurs through a public call made by the ANP, according to guidelines of the Ministry of Mines and Energy. In the course of this process, potential carriers are identified, the demand for transport capacity, the allocation of the supply of transport capacity and the determination of the transport tariff.

With the expiration of the TCQ Brasil Contract (Transportation Capacity Quantity) on 12/31/2019, around 18 million cubic meters of gas capacity per day were released in Gasbol. Therefore, ANP Public Call No. 01/2019 was held to contract the available transport capacity for the years 2020 to 2024. Public Call No. 02/2020 continues the process of contracting Gasbol capacity, covering the period from 2021 to 2025.

Thus, based on the sole paragraph of Article 38 of ANP Resolution No. 11, of March 16, 2016, ANP will publish in the Official Gazette - DOU the notice of approval of the Public Call notice to be carried out by the Carrier indirectly. The terms of the approved notice may only be changed upon prior and express approval by the ANP.
