The expectation that the crisis is temporary and that in the coming years, the shipbuilding industry resume a virtuous circle encourages exhibitors participating in the 13th edition of Marintec South America - Navalshore, main business platform to leverage innovations and connect with maritime community in South America. "We participated in the fair to plant a seed for the future. When all improve and the crisis is over, we will be even more firm and strong, "said Antonino Italian, CEO and president of the Marine Office, technology manufacturer for navigation.

The company innovated in their participation in this edition of the show, opting for a fully digital product presentation. "We invest in strengthening brand because the visibility provided by Marintec is essential. Many technologies are becoming more accessible. What was once only available to large vessels, is now accessible to smaller boats, like fishing, "said Antonino. The Marintec runs until Wednesday (21) at the SulAmérica Convention Center in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), bringing together more than 380 brands, including shipowners, shipyards, manufacturers, and national and international suppliers.

Other companies participating in the event have the same strategy: use the potential visibility that provides Marintec to gain even more strenght in the market. This is the case of Brazil MTU, which in this edition of Marintec celebrates, in the event, the 20th anniversary of the launch of engines Series 4000 line "A Marintec is a special time for this celebration because we found together all the owners and cream of the shipbuilding market. Our expectations are that the scenario will improve and the trend is that investment gain breath, "said the sales manager Paulo Afonso da Silveira.

Roberto Garcia, sales engineer Graygo International, echoed the optimism and believes that Brazil is to resume growth in the shipping industry. "I felt this issue of Marintec that there is a concern to provide the latest technology and to foster new business. I, for example, made good contacts that can turn into partnerships in the future, "he noted.

Technological advances - The event also focused industry releases. Brastech took this edition of Marintec to present the life raft for six persons, equipment for vessels, support ships and offshore platforms. "Inflated with high pressure cylinders, in 15 seconds is operational to meet emergency situations. It also has flags for the day and night and serves as inflatable cabin, " explained the commercial manager of the company, Eduardo Ignatius.

"We participated in a strategic way of Marintec South America because it is here that we find the production chain segment. It is a unique opportunity to show how Brastech can meet varied demands of the maritime sector, marine and offshore, "he added.
