As a gesture of solidarity for the recovery of the Notre-Dame Cathedral, struck by a huge fire on Monday (15/04) in the afternoon that damaged one of the most emblematic monuments in Paris, the Total oil company pledges its support by donating 100 million euros to Fondation du Patrimoine to assist in the complete reconstruction of this architectural monument and invaluable symbol of the history and culture of France.

The Notre-Dame Cathedral Paris is one of the oldest Gothic cathedrals in France. Originally built in 1163, it is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus, and is located on the Île de la Cité in Paris, surrounded by the waters of the Seine.
