The largest oil and gas event in the North and Northeast, Bahia Oil & Gas Energy (BOGE), starts this Wednesday (27) and runs until Friday (29) at the Salvador Convention Center (BA). Entirely free of charge, the meeting is geared toward industry professionals and will feature an exhibition, conferences, innovation, business, and energy integration.

The proposal is to promote the exchange of knowledge and encourage solutions that combine economic development with environmental responsibility. The discussion agenda will cover topics such as innovation and sustainability, exploration and production, refining, the natural gas market, and investment opportunities.

Just like in the last edition, the 2026 Technical Section and Academic Congress received papers from outside Brazil. Partnerships were established with foreign institutions organizing other international congresses, allowing their members to submit academic works to BOGE. In exchange, national researchers will be able to present their papers abroad.

BOGE26 will also feature a Business Round, promoting commercial exchanges between domestic and international companies, buyers, and suppliers in the sector.

A new feature of BOGE26 will be the training courses, aimed at students, professionals, and those interested in oil and gas activities.

Two Plenaries

The program also includes two main plenaries, one focused on oil and the other on gas and derivatives. There will be several arenas, including the ESG Arena, dedicated to discussing environmental, social, and governance topics. It will also feature an Innovation Arena, a Commercial Arena, technical visits, an Investment Arena, and the "Talents of the Future" program, an activity focused on career guidance for students in their final years of technical and engineering studies.

The event has already confirmed master sponsorship from several key companies in the sector, such as Petrobras, Transpetro, PetroReconcavo, Brava, Bahiagás, and Acelen.
